Steve Williams knows about air conditioning, as the owner of William's Heating & Cooling (now Enjoy Heating and Cooling) in Lakeland, FL. He has spent the past 30 years climbing in and out of scorching Polk County, Florida attics. His mission: repairing plagued air conditioning units.
Williams Heating and Cooling (nowEnjoy Heating & Cooling), began in owner Steve Williams' Lakeland home off U.S. 98 South in the winter of 1981. It was at a time when Florida's cooler months also meant less work for many air-conditioning and heating repairmen.
Times were getting lean for Mr. Williams before a phone call that changed his life and has led to a 30 year-old business. It was his first customer.
Today, Williams Heating & Cooling (now Enjoy Heating and Cooling) installs and repairs all makes and models of air-conditioning and heating units throughout Polk County, including Lakeland, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Polk City, Bartow, Eagle Lake, Mulberry and Plant City. The company plans to expand to other areas in the near future.
Technology has brought the largest changes to the industry, making air conditioning and heating units more efficient and easier to manage. With that change, Williams Heating & Cooling continues to grow. Now we have four full-time employees and are continually looking for more, as well as more space. We are located in a converted bait shop and have changing our name to Enjoy Heating & Cooling.
